We drove up from Townsville in search of a new property, not really knowing what we wanted. Di from First National spent the afternoon with us looking at everything in our price range. The day we looked at this particular property at Wongaling Beach was officially the last day of First National's sole agency on the property. Unfortunately, we were unable to make an offer on the property on that day. Just days later when we were in a position to make an offer, it was in the hands of a Cairns real estate agency. We first encountered the Di Wagner Real Estate company on the internet, while doing research for purchasing an investment property in Queensland. After several months of intensive internet shopping for some acreage to buy between Townsville and Cairns, we were able to narrow our search to about six likely properties in the general area of Mission Beach. Of course different estate agencies were involved and the final decision would be based on a visit to the area from our base in Melbourne.

Of all the contacts that we arranged the most responsive and personable one was from an otherwise stranger, Tania Steele.
